Tudor Lodge - Redcar Beach

Even though it’s “shared bathroom facilities” there are a number to choose from for each landing area, (aIso I expect nearly all rooms have a sink with hot & cold water), plus radiator and remote control multichannel TV. There’s a Communal kitchen with microwave, fridge and toaster plus a nice relaxed sitting room downstairs. Nice friendly feel and very clean inside. Just up the road from O’Gradys pub serving excellent F&B and the Regent Cinema in opposite direction. Lodge is literally a few minutes walk from Redcar Central train station, Morrisons supermarket & Morrisons Extra daily store at bottom of road open till 10pm, town centre and the leisure centre. Masses of buses a few minutes away to all areas as well as regular train services too!

Loved the fact the hotel is only round the corner from the beach,there's a pub (ogradys) at the end of the street and a morrisons local. It's about 15 mins away from the centre and 20 mins walk from races. Matress on beds are wonderful so nice to sleep on. The rooms are basic and a bit over priced for what you get but the owner is lovely so is her daughter. It was races day so think the price may have been put up.The room has bedside cabinet,chest of draws and a wardrobe, a sink in the corner tv and a heater/ fan. If the price wasn't as much I probably go again but £90 a night I think it's a bit much for a 2* hotel.

I booked this room for my partner so he could have a night out in Redcar, close to all amenities, said the staff were friendly, plenty of take aways, restaurant's etc

Everything was very clean, staff were friendly and accommodating. Great location.

The lady who was there could not do enough for me , she was amazing. Such a warm welcome. So close to everything, cab walk everywhere to it , def be using it again . It basic and suit the needs I required .
